Tna & Kassem's Wedding - Star Lite Cruise - Clearwater Beach, FL

I had the privilege to photograph Tina & Kassem’s wedding aboard the StarLite Majesty dinner cruise. I had not had a chance to work with them prior to their wedding so I met them for the first time on their wedding day! Michele Renee was there doing Tina’s hair & makeup in Tina’s room at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort. She always does a great job! Tina was such a creative DIY bride. She made her own bouquet, decorated her shoes & added sleeves to her dress! Kassem is Moroccan so they had Argano oil brought in from Morocco to dip bread in. It tasted like roasted nuts and was delicious!! I found out it’s actually used in top of the line beauty products. The day went very smoothly with the exception of the massive rain shower that started right as we were getting in the car to head to the boat. Tina had to wait out the storm in her car. It wasn’t too long before the sky cleared up and it turned into a beautiful day for a wedding! Tina & Kassem – I wish you guys all the best!

Dulcie & Jason’s Wedding

I met with Dulcie & Jason to photograph their engagement session in St Augustine a couple of months back & I couldn't wait for their wedding! I had my brother come along and assist me with lighting & equipment as my wife Liz was out of town visiting her family. He did a great job as always! Dulcie got her hair done with her Maid of Honor at the salon inside of Dillard’s at the Avenues Mall. She finished getting ready at the church in the back room where she got her makeup done & put on her dress. Dulcie & Jason got married at St. Joseph's Church and had their reception at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant. Publix provided their cake which was great as always. The day was wonderful & they looked completely in love! During the reception I noticed a children’s train that was riding around the St Johns Town Center & I was determined to have them take pictures sitting in it. They were great sports about it & laughing the entire time. I hope they had a great time in Vegas on their honeymoon…..I know I can’t wait to go back!

Through the looking glass of my lens

Phew…So here we go, my first ever “Blog” (where did this word come from anyway?) posting…here it begins…my online photo blog.

This blog is for you…. my couples, individuals, families & children (I refuse to use the word customer as everyone I work with becomes a friend)…and for anyone else who would like to follow my life & photographic adventures. This blog is also for me…a constant reminder that my art is a journey…and to always strive to grow and learn. Here I will document all of the stories, moments, and shenanigans as well as all of the absolutely wonderful people that I have the privilege & honor to work with along the way.

As I sit looking at the blinking cursor on my screen with my trusty Nikon sitting in the faint distance I can’t help but think about how much I have already accomplished but yet still have so much to gain. It surely will be a never ending story – a constant journey down the rabbit hole - through the looking glass of my lens. Want to come?
